Dear future husband,
I have been praying for you for a long time now. I don’t know who you are or what you are going through right now but I know that whatever it is will make you a better man and is something that will lead us to each other. I cannot wait to know who you are but I know that I need to wait until God’s timing is perfect. I promise to love you as much as I possibly can, with my whole heart. I promise to love you through all of the ups and downs that life will hand us. Even though I am not the best cook, I promise to make a homemade dinner at least once a week for us and you have to pretend to like it even if you don’t. I promise to be sensitive to your sin and to help you defeat it in any way possible. I pray for you every day, I pray for any problems you may be dealing with, I pray for you to continue to stay in the Word and most of all, I pray for our future. I pray that when we meet, we pursue a Christ focused relationship and that we work to glorify him and not ourselves. I promise that I will work to be the kind of wife that you need and that Christ has planned for me to become. I promise that I am working hard to stay in the Word and to strengthen my relationship with Christ so that I am spiritually prepared for when we finally find each other. I promise to help raise our kids in a healthy Christian home. I promise to love you even when we fight over silly things…especially when we fight over silly things. I promise to pray with and for you frequently. I promise that I will be there by your side no matter what, no matter when. Over anything else, I pray that we work to glorify God together and raise children who glorify Him as well.
Forever and always, Saundra
