Dear Jesus,
I love you. I love you more than I have loved anyone. You gave your life for me and that is insane to think about. You loved the world even though it’s sinful and disgusting and you died in the most painful and humiliating way so that we could be seen as pure in the eyes of your Father. I cannot even begin to fathom the kind of love that you felt for us to give your life for us sinners. Because you first loved me, I can love you and others. I can and have been baptized in your name. I align myself with your teachings, though we all fall short of your Father’s glory. I aspire to show your love to others and to point them towards you because your way is the only way. I strive to love others as you love me. I want to go and talk to people and have them say “she has the love of Christ in her heart and I want that.” I do not want them to see me, but to see you in me. You are the Alpha and the Omega, beginning and end and I plan to love you for eternity. You are my savior and the love of my life, Jesus Christ.
Always,
Saundra
